As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in electrical engineering, focusing on low to medium voltage environments. The ideal candidate possesses experience with distribution panel loading, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, conduit and conductor sizing, and cable tray fills. Responsibilities:
Generate comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models aligned with both industry standards, client requirements, and electrical engineering best practices. Develop detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation that support areas such as process equipment installation design packages, tool hookup design, subfab rack and lateral design, and cleanroom and facility modification support. Determine conduit and conductor sizing, meticulously accounting for current loads and environmental variables. Assess cable tray fills methodically to guarantee proper cable management, organization, and future scalability. Perform detailed short circuit calculations to accurately determine fault currents, select appropriate protective devices, and ensure system safety. Perform precise voltage drop calculations to ensure electrical system stability and compliance with industry standards. Ensure all electrical designs rigorously comply with and exceed local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations to guarantee safety and quality. Apply established design techniques and exercises discernment in adapting and modifying design concepts as needed. Uphold quality control by adhering to company and team design and CAD standards. Will work with Sr. Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders on specific assigned objectives, complex features, and aid in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, qualifying candidate for professional engineering licensure in Arizona. Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design drafting is required. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards Benefits:
