Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician or Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various applications, primarily within material handling and automation environments. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop control systems using PLC programming. Install and test control systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance. Maintain documentation for control systems and update as necessary. Provide support for programming and configuration of HMI systems. Assist in the integration of I/O networking and communication protocols. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field. Proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Allen Bradley systems is preferred. Knowledge of material handling and conveyor systems. Experience with .NET and Visual Basic is a plus. Proficiency in C++, C#, or Java is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
