Job Title:

Electrical Engineer Job Description Design, develop, and validate electrical systems for consumer electronics products from concept through production. Support schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout design. Assist with bringing up, debugging, and validating hardware systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and manufacturing. Contribute to BOM management and technical documentation. Build and test prototypes for new product development. Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems for consumer electronics. Support schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout design. Assist with the bring-up, debugging, and validation of hardware systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and manufacturing. Contribute to BOM management and technical documentation. Build and test prototypes for new product development. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with PCB Design (Schematic and Layout) using tools like Altium. Experience in hardware debugging and bring-up using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Exposure to product development engineering from early stages through testing or production. Strong foundation in analog, digital, and mixed-signal design. Working knowledge of communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and USB. Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, or SoCs. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Typically 1-8 years of relevant experience, flexible based on hands-on capability. Hands-on experience with schematic capture or PCB layout is strongly preferred. Work Environment Fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities. High ownership and autonomy are expected at all levels. Collaborative team working closely across hardware, software, and product. Emphasis on building and iteration in a hands-on development environment. Smaller team structure compared to large corporate organizations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
