At HME you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while developing our future products. Come join our team! We are currently recruiting for a temporary Test Engineer III, Temporary, 6 months . What you will do in the position: Design, fabricate, and program Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Develop, evaluate, and recommend state-of-the-art and cost-effective test methods and equipment. Evaluate new product designs to improve Design for Test (DFT) Develop specifications for manufacturing processes in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering. Generate test procedures. Curate time and cost estimates for tester development. Train Technicians on tester operation and troubleshooting. Provide Testing support. Assist in the design and development of manual test fixtures. Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned. What you will need to succeed:Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of electronics and design. Strong understanding of basic Engineering Computer Software. Comprehensive knowledge of test equipment and how to operate. Computer programming skills. Experience with commercial PCB ATE operation and programming is a plus.Experience:
5 years or equivalent combination of Education & Experience.Education:
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering/related field or equivalent combination of Education & Experience- Required Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
