The Opportunity :
We are looking for a high-caliber Electrical Design Engineer to lead engineering analysis and system design for large-scale, multi-family new-construction projects across California. This is an opportunity to join one of the state's premier MEP contractors and manage a high-volume portfolio of mixed-use and residential developments.
What You'll Do Technical Leadership:
Lead the design of electrical building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems for complex multi-family projects.
BIM Coordination:
AutoCAD and Revit MEP to develop comprehensive construction documents and manage BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows.
Engineering Analytics:
Perform and review critical calculations for load analysis, short-circuit studies, and voltage drops.
Code Mastery:
NEC, California Electrical Code, and Title 24 Part 6 energy requirements.
Sustainability:
Integrate LEED and CALGreen principles into engineering solutions to drive energy efficiency.
What You Bring Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical or Architectural Engineering Experience:
3-6 years of relevant electrical design experience, specifically within multi-family or mixed-use residential projects.
Credentials:
Active EIT Certification is required ; active pursuit of a PE license is highly preferred.
Software:
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP . Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and SKM/AGi32 is a major plus.
Communication:
Ability to translate complex engineering data into actionable plans for cross-disciplinary teams and clients. Why Join This Team?
