TouchID Electrical Engineer

Touch ID is how millions of people unlock their devices, authorize payments, and protect their most sensitive data. We're looking for an electrical engineer who wants to own designs-not just execute them. You'll shape sensor module architectures, make electrical design decisions, and see your work ship in Apple products.

DescriptionThe Sensing Systems team integrates MEMS, magnetic, and capacitive sensors across Apple's product lines. On the Touch ID team, you'll design sensor modules that are central to security and user experience.

This role is for an engineer ready to move beyond task execution to design ownership. You'll propose circuit solutions, evaluate tradeoffs, and defend your technical decisions to cross-functional partners. You'll have the opportunity to influence system-level architecture-not just implement specifications handed to you. When problems arise, you'll exercise judgment to identify root causes and drive design improvements. We're looking for someone with strong analog fundamentals and the initiative to shape technical direction. You'll work alongside experienced engineers who will challenge your thinking and support your growth, while giving you real ownership of designs that matter.\
