Closures Engineering Technician

Description Responsibilities:

• Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits. Using multimeters, force gauges, and torque wrenches.
• Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered
• Support engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition
• Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers
• Assemble & wire test fixtures
• Collaboration with team for lab organization and usage.
• Understanding of Ohms law and Kirchhoff's laws.

• Excellent attention to detail along with written & verbal communication skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills and strong organization skills
• Working principals of common closures operations, testing and characterization
• Experience using standard lab and test equipment like power supplies and DAQs
• Ability to solder, crimp, and read wire diagrams.
• Basic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word)
• Experience working with high voltage and low voltage components.
• Previous experience with CAN communication
• Experience working on vehicle level systems.

Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
