Develop and maintain electrical schematics, System Interconnect Diagrams (SIDs), and related engineering documentation. Support electrical system validation activities by developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results. Assist with system-level integration, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to support prototype builds, production issues, and outsourced electrical assemblies. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product reliability, manufacturability, quality, and cost reduction. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including prototype development, design verification, and production readiness efforts. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, procedures, and other product release documentation. Support component lifecycle management activities, including obsolescence reviews and alternative part qualification. Provide technical support to manufacturing, field service, quality, and other engineering teams. Participate in MRB activities and dispositioning of nonconforming material. Create and support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and assist in implementing design changes through the change control process. Contribute to engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers and engineering management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 2-5 years of experience in electrical system design, development, manufacturing, or sustaining engineering. Experience using ECAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar software. Experience developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel documentation. Familiarity with electrical systems used in industrial equipment, automation systems, semiconductor equipment, additive manufacturing systems, or similar capital equipment. Hands-on experience with prototyping, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support. Working knowledge of electrical control systems, PLCs, motion control systems, industrial networking, AC/DC power distribution, and machine safety concepts. Experience with Mechanical CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for electrical panel layouts and cable routing coordination. Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as Propel, Arena, Agile, or SolidWorks PDM. Understanding of engineering documentation practices, drawing standards, and change management processes. Familiarity with IEC, UL, CE, or other industrial equipment standards is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to work hands-on with system assembly, integration, and testing activities. Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and a desire to grow technically in a fast-paced engineering environment.
