Job Description

An Arc Flash Label installer, also known as a label installer or a facility safety label installer, is responsible for applying and maintaining arc flash labels on electrical equipment. These labels provide essential safety information, including warning of arc flash hazards and the necessary PPE for safe work. Must have experience in the Lighting and Electrical industry. Composite shoes and PPE equipment is required for all projects. FGCE will provide Fire Rated clothing. Adhering to relevant standards like NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA regulations for arc flash labeling. Responsibilities Prepare electrical design drawings and specifications Design lighting, power, and low-voltage systems Perform load calculations and panel schedules Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and plumbing engineers Prepare Title 24 documentation and energy compliance reports Conduct site visits and field investigations Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs Support permit approvals Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and industry standards
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
