You will be the Circuit Design Engineer (ROIC) for Lockheed Martin MFC. Our group creates cutting edge read out integrated circuit (ROIC) solutions that power space, targeting, navigation, situational awareness, aerial surveillance, and drone mounted sensor systems. What You Will Be Doing As the ROIC Circuit Design Engineer you will lead the end to end development of complete ROIC products, collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines, and communicate design concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, simulating, and validating ROIC architectures that meet performance, power, and SWaP C targets. Coordinating layout activities and overseeingPCB/ASIC
placement using industry standard tools (Cadence, Mentor, etc.). Conducting hardware testing, debugging, and failure analysis to ensure silicon meets specification. Working directly with CMOS foundries to define process options, manage tape out schedules, and resolve manufacturing issues. Supporting the broader IR sensor system design effort, integrating ROICs with optics, packaging, and thermal solutions. Preparing and delivering technical presentations, design reviews, and customer briefings that clearly communicate trade offs and benefits. Guiding junior engineers and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education Experience with Cadence Virtuoso IC design suite Experience in CMOS Integrated Circuit design Experience in top level integrated circuit design, integration, and preparation for tapeoutDesired Skills:
IC design in the Cadence Virtuoso tool suite Top level and circuit block experience of ROIC designs Analog circuit design of amplifiers, current mirrors, and other bias circuits Digital logic circuit design with custom logic blocks or with RTL behavioral design Mixed signal circuit design of high speed digital blocks such as memory, PLL's, analog to digital converters, digital to analog converters, and high speed serial transmitters Transistor level layout mask design Serial interface designs including serial peripheral, I2C, and other standard command and control interfaces Linux C-Shell scripting Version control management of source code with industry standard tool such as Git or Cliosoft Understanding of IR sensor systems Lab experience of test and troubleshooting CMOS circuitsClearance Level:

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for thisPosition:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100- $171,235.

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $111,700- $193,660.
