Job Description We are seeking a Senior Electrical Characterization Engineer to support electrical validation and characterization activities for Zonal Architecture and Battery Management System (BMS) ECUs within advanced automotive platforms. The engineer will be responsible for executing electrical tests, analyzing system performance, validating hardware functionality, and supporting diagnostics activities to ensure robust and reliable system operation. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical characterization and validation activities for Zonal and BMS ECUs. Perform electrical testing including power analysis, signal integrity, communication validation, and system diagnostics. Execute validation activities for battery systems, zonal controllers, and associated electronic components. Analyze electrical performance metrics, test data, and system behavior to identify defects and performance gaps. Develop and execute validation plans, test procedures, and characterization strategies. Support root-cause analysis and debugging of electrical and system-level issues. Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and integration teams to resolve technical challenges. Utilize lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, CAN tools, DAQs, and signal generators. Validate communication protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, UART, and I2C. Prepare validation reports, defect documentation, and technical findings. Support continuous improvement initiatives for validation processes and test methodologies. Required Skills Strong experience in electrical characterization and validation of automotive ECUs. Hands-on experience with Zonal Architecture and Battery Management Systems (BMS). Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and embedded systems. Experience in electrical testing, signal analysis, diagnostics, and defect analysis. Proficiency with electrical lab equipment and data acquisition tools. Understanding of power electronics, battery systems, and vehicle electrical architecture. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. Experience with system-level validation and performance analysis.
