Electrical Engineer (No out of State Candidate) Reports to:
Director of Operational Excellence FLSA Status:
Exempt Position Purpose Our Electrical Engineer position is a great opportunity for an individual interested in supporting manufacturing, automation, engineering development, and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced production environment. This role will support troubleshooting, automation systems, electrical integration, equipment validation, and engineering documentation while working closely with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams. This is an entry-level position with strong growth potential within the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support troubleshooting of electrical, automation, and electromechanical systems in manufacturing environments
- Assist with integration, validation, and startup of new equipment and automation systems
- Support PLC troubleshooting and basic programming modifications
- Assist Engineering and Operations teams in identifying root causes of production and equipment issues
- Support engineering projects related to cost reduction, defect reduction, and process improvements
- Assist with prototype development, testing, and engineering validation activities
- Create and maintain electrical drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions
- Track project actions, engineering changes, and follow-up activities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management Skills, Abilities and Experience Educational & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering field is required
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, automation systems, and troubleshooting is required
- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is preferred
- Familiarity with PLC programming software such as Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, or Mitsubishi GX Works is preferred
- Experience with Python programming or scripting is preferred
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings is required
- Hands-on experience with robotics, automation systems, or manufacturing equipment is a plus
- Experience with 3D printing and prototyping technologies is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical Requirements:
- SolidWorks drafting and modeling, a plus
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial automation
- Experience with Python programming is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Knowledge of robotics and automation systems is a plus
- Basic use of electrical diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
Physical Requirements:
The Electrical Engineer should be prepared to stand, walk, bend, kneel, sit, talk, hear, see, use hands, and finger dexterity (typing). Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; any object over 50 lbs. will require a team lift. Vision requirements include the ability to work on or around machinery and to create, read, and analyze spreadsheets and technical documentation. Work Environment

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
