Job Description:
Electrical Engineering Liaison, Heavy-Duty Vehicle Manufacturing, Western US An established manufacture of heavy-duty transportation equipment and one of the largest and established manufacturers in North America has an urgent need for an Electrical Engineering Production Liaison. The position will be focused on Providing technical support to engineers with influence at the component level to optimize parts and systems. The position will be located at their recently completed state-of the art manufacturing facility Located in one of the country's oldest wine regions on the eastern edge of California's Bay Area and home to several renowned wineries. The area has a Mediterranean climate with dry summers and mild to cool winters.
Qualifications:
Engineering experience in heavy duty vehicle industry including Commercial vehicles, locomotives, automotive, trucks, off road vehicles, recreational vehicles, farm equipment, buses, EV vehicles a plus. Will consider truck/automotive part manufactures. Hands on Electrical Troubleshooting on electrical issues in production. Ability to diagnose electrical issues minimizing downtime. Understanding of Manufacturing Processes & Design for Manufacturability Experience with applying Lean Manufacturing & Process Optimization Working Knowledge of Vehicle Electrical Systems & Standards. Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and the ability to apply industry standards (NFPA, NEC, APTA, etc.) CAD, Documentation, and BOM Management Skills Outstanding compensation that includes base salary, exceptional retirement contribution 100% company paid benefits and relocation assistance.
