Associate Hydroelectric Power Utility Engineer Incumbent will be required to perform engineering work on matters relating to electrical and mechanical systems on the State Water Project (SWP). Develop and review engineering standards, instructions and work scopes pertaining to equipment repair; maintenance and replacement on the SWP hydroelectric generating and pumping plants and appurtenant facilities; direct investigations of equipment problems and failures and provides technical assistance in the development and implementation of corrective action; evaluate the Project's preventative maintenance program and maintenance management system. Electrical Engineer Incumbent performs the less complex types of electrical engineering work; inspects the installation of electrical equipment and prepares reports.
