This role supports both custom engineered solutions and the development and continuous improvement of standardized products. The Electrical Engineer partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient electrical designs that meet customer and business requirements. What's In It For You The opportunity to take on meaningful engineering challenges supporting innovative process system solutions The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company passionate about growth and continuous improvement The support of a collaborative, safety-focused organization that values inclusion, teamwork, and technical excellence What You Will Do Design electrical control panels and systems using Autodesk AutoCAD 2D in accordance with internal standards and UL requirements Prepare detailed electrical wiring diagrams and control panel layout drawings Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and select equipment and hardware based on customer requirements and project budgets Coordinate with the electrical shop to support design execution and resolve technical questions Participate in engineering meetings and provide project status updates Perform functional testing on panels and support in-house Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Support shop setup of temporary test equipment as needed Work directly with suppliers on purchased electrical components Assist with preparation of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals Support continuous improvement initiatives and product standardization efforts Maintain awareness of applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices Position Details Candidate must reside in: Chatsworth, CA or surrounding area Work location: Full-time, onsite at the Chatsworth, CA office and mechanical site Work week and shift: Full-time, standard business hours Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment Working experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with UL508A and NEC standards Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills No immigration sponsorship available for this opportunity Physical Demands Ability to work in an office and manufacturing or fabrication environment Occasional lifting associated with testing and panel support activities Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting electrical panel fabrication and testing Exposure to ISO-driven environments Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers Certifications UL508A familiarity or certification (preferred, if applicable) Careers Advancing Ovivo by Ecolab - Water Technology Solutions Help shape the future of water and technology by joining Ovivo by Ecolab's Water Technology Solutions team. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $85,000-$120,000 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
