$80-$82 per hour Milpitas, CA Contract
  • Duration:

  • Job Description:
  • + Seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Design Engineer to support the design and development of semiconductor process equipment and control systems. + This role focuses on electrical system design, PLC programming, power distribution, subsystem integration, and industrial automation within a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Design electrical modules, control panels, and subsystems for semiconductor equipment.
+ Own the full electrical design lifecycle including requirements, feasibility studies, schematic design, integration, prototype testing, and manufacturing release. + Develop and support control systems, power distribution, system interlocks, and laser chiller controls. + Perform electrical analysis including load, timing, and thermal evaluations. + Create schematics and documentation using tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, and FPGA development platforms. + Work closely with Mechanical, Software, Systems, and Manufacturing teams for subsystem and system integration. + Support hands-on lab activities, troubleshooting, validation, and cleanroom testing. + Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation and issue resolution.
  • Experience:
  • + 5+ years of electrical design engineering experience. + PLC programming expertise is required (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.). + Strong experience in: + Control system design + Industrial automation + Power distribution systems + Electrical integration and troubleshooting + Experience with Ladder Logic programming. + Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
