On-Site Position Overview We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to support design validation and environmental testing activities for advanced electrical systems. This is a hands-on, lab-based role focused on executing test procedures, collecting data, and supporting engineering validation efforts. Ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers, this opportunity provides strong foundational experience in hardware validation and automotive electrical systems. Key Responsibilities Design Validation & Testing Support execution of Design Validation (DV) testing, including LV124 electrical stress testing Assist with E-Fuse inrush current testing, including setup, waveform capture, and preliminary analysis Perform environmental testing using thermal chambers and related lab equipment Ensure testing aligns with internal specifications and engineering requirements Lab Operations & Equipment Configure and operate oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, and electronic loads Maintain safe and organized lab environments during testing activities Support troubleshooting and proper setup of test equipment Data Collection & Reporting Document test setups, conditions, results, and observations Organize waveform data, plots, and test artifacts for engineering review Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis, reporting, and documentation Team Collaboration Work closely with senior engineers to ensure test coverage and adherence to schedules Support engineering teams in meeting validation milestones and program goals Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships or co-ops acceptable) Basic understanding of automotive electrical systems and lab testing practices Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, and current measurement techniques Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word High attention to detail and ability to work in a hands-on lab environment Preferred Experience working with an OEM or Tier 1 automotive supplier Background in a test lab or validation environment Scripting or automation experience for test processes What Makes This Opportunity Unique Hands-on experience supporting real-world hardware validation and testing Exposure to automotive electrical systems and industry-standard validation processes Opportunity to build a versatile skillset applicable across multiple engineering industries Strong learning environment with mentorship from experienced engineers Performance Expectations Ability to meet testing deadlines and support project timelines Clear documentation and communication of test results Demonstrated understanding of testing tools and electrical fundamentals Interview Process Multiple rounds of technical evaluation Candidates should be prepared to discuss prior experience, lab equipment usage, and electrical fundamentals Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), employee assistance programs, and more.
