In this role, you will drive the design, analysis, and integration of electrical components and systems, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise will be pivotal in advancing cutting-edge technology solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior engineers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of electrical engineering within a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of electrical transformers, including schematics, PCB layouts, and system integration using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Develop and verify FPGA-based designs utilizing SystemVerilog, VHDL, and simulation tools like MATLAB and Simulink to ensure optimal performance. Conduct root cause analysis on electrical issues through debugging techniques involving oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and signal processing methods. Collaborate with project teams to develop project schedules, manage milestones, and ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions. Perform system design reviews and validation testing for electrical systems incorporating NEC standards and manufacturing best practices. Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and quality assurance protocols such as vision inspection systems. Engage in firmware development using C++, Python, Perl, or scripting languages to enhance system functionality and automation. Apply mechanical knowledge when integrating electrical components into mechanical assemblies using CAD tools like Revit or Mechanical Engineering software. Mentor junior engineers on electrical engineering principles including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, surface mount technology (SMT), and surface-mount soldering techniques. Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations while designing robust electrical systems for diverse applications. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on electrical systems. Extensive experience in electrical design including schematics creation, PCB layout design, and system integration. Proficiency with FPGA development environments, SystemVerilog coding, and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink. Strong knowledge of electrical standards including NEC (National Electrical Code) and manufacturing processes involving surface mount technology (SMT). Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal analyzers, and vision inspection systems. Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks for detailed system modeling. Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules effectively while coordinating cross-disciplinary teams. Skilled in firmware programming using C++, Python or Perl for embedded systems or automation tasks. Mechanical understanding relevant to integrating electrical components into mechanical assemblies or enclosures. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, Arduino platforms, and surface-mount soldering techniques.
