Through innovations like our Artemis-ProFuse CAD system and advanced MRI-ultrasound fusion technology, we provide clinicians with the tools required for precise, image-guided diagnostics and treatment. As we continue to expand our clinical reach globally, we are developing the next generation of targeted ablation therapies and are looking for exceptional engineering talent to drive this mission forward. The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer to lead the hardware integration of our new Irreversible Electroporation (IRE) ablation system. In this role, you will design, test, and optimize the high-voltage, short-pulse delivery systems required for non-thermal tissue ablation. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the IRE hardware integrates seamlessly with our existing diagnostic and navigation platforms to deliver precise, targeted clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Circuit & System Design:
Architect, design, and develop high-voltage, high-current pulse generation circuitry tailored for IRE applications. Work with our potential suppliers.
Platform Integration:
Work closely with software and mechanical engineering teams to ensure the IRE hardware interfaces smoothly with the Artemis system and other imaging/navigation platforms.
Prototyping & Testing:
Build functional prototypes, conduct rigorous benchtop testing, and perform formal verification and validation (V&V) to ensure system safety, reliability, and efficacy.
Regulatory Compliance:
Design systems in strict accordance with medical device electrical safety and EMC standards (e.g., IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2).

Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline. 5+ years of hands-on experience in medical device hardware development. Direct experience with high-voltage power electronics, therapeutic energy delivery, laser or ablation technologies (prior work with IRE, electroporation, Laser or RF ablation is highly preferred). Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout. Deep understanding of medical device quality management systems (ISO 13485) and design controls. Proven track record of taking a complex medical device from the concept phase through commercialization. Preferred Skills Cross-disciplinary understanding of mechanical engineering principles as they relate to medical device packaging and thermal management. Experience integrating hardware with complex software-driven clinical platforms.
