seeks a professional engineer (electrical) local to the Sacramento, California area to join our team where they will have the chance to collaborate with a highly skilled team, tackle diverse projects, and strengthen their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Learning how to, and then performing field evaluations, investigating the origin and cause of failures, damages or defects for residential, commercial, and industrial structures Learning how to, and then analyzing the failure of building systems, determining the cause, and evaluating the construction quality Performing structural analysis and structural design computations Preparing construction drawings Communicating directly with clients and building officialsin a professional manner

Qualifications:

Experience:

0-5+ years Currently resides in the Sacramento, California area Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional demeanor, comfortable interacting with clients, emphasis on customer service Possess a driver'slicense, access to a vehicle and is able to safely operate the vehicle in a work capacity Comfortable with physically challenging environments (climbing ladders, walking roofs, evaluating attics, crawlspaces, fire damaged and partially collapsed structures) Ability to work remotely (home office) as well as in the field as needed. Candidate's home office is to include: a Windows computer with a Microsoft Office license, an AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT license, minimum 21" computer screen, detached keyboard and mouse (they are not required to be wireless, just not the track pad and fixed keyboard on a laptop), and a printer/scanner/copier
