Entry Level Controls Engineer

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring a entry level Controls Engineer in San Diego, CA . As a Controls Engineer , you will: Assist in the selection of electrical hardware and placement of components within the control panel layout. Creation of assembly drawings, accurate/timely bill of materials and manufacturing floor support for assembly and testing operations. Development and improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures, and resolution of technical and manufacturing problems. In concert with Controls Engineers, the incumbent frequently assists to select and specify components through communication with customers and suppliers Prepare and release drawings. This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity with growth potential.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm plus overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Must have a verifiable 2.8 GPA or higher to qualify Educational based exposure to electrical equipment design and controls application preferred Interest in electrical equipment design and layout of electrical equipment using CAD based systems Be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test Must be local to the San Diego area

Pay Rate:
