Based is our San Jose, CA office, this role combines lab and field work — including occasional travel to the US, Europe, Japan, and Israel — and puts you at the cutting edge of the global autonomous driving industry. San Jose, CA | Full-Time | On-Site About the Role You'll play a key role in deploying, testing, and upgrading hardware and software systems on autonomous vehicles and buses. Working closely with our integration and software teams, you'll identify and resolve faults in real-world conditions — on real vehicles, not simulations. This is a rare opportunity to gain deep, hands-on experience with some of the most advanced autonomous systems in the field. Responsibilities Implement and integrate software and hardware systems on autonomous vehicles and buses Diagnose, report, and resolve system faults in the field Collaborate with integration and software teams across global sites Conduct electrical and software testing under real-world conditions Requirements 1. Degree or certification as an Electrical, Software, Electronics, or Mechatronics Technician / Practical Engineer 2. 4+ years of experience diagnosing and maintaining electronic and/or electrical systems in passenger vehicles or buses 3. Ability to read schematics and work fluently across both software and electrical domains 4. Hands-on experience with advanced vehicle diagnostic equipment 5. Strong understanding of computer hardware, including building and upgrading high-performance systems 6. Comfort with extended field sessions — including multi-hour rides on autonomous vehicles in varying weather conditions 7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in dynamic field environments 8. Willingness to travel internationally for 2-4 weeks at a time, multiple times per year 9. High proficiency in both English and Hebrew (required for collaboration with our Israel-based teams) 10. Valid driver's license — required 11. Familiarity with the autonomous vehicle industry — a plus
