Electrical Engineer REQ# L6409

Location:

Santa Clara, CA Duties:

Design or modify electronic and related engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision. Perform basic engineering analysis and generate basic engineering test reports under general supervision. Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release. Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electronic and related components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues. Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electronic and related problems. Implement concepts for product issues and solutions of moderate difficulty. Assist in development of electrical product specifications. Develop, design, troubleshoot DC power supply for PVD processes. Develop an advanced mechanism to suppress arcing behavior to improve the performance and reduce particles in wafer processing. Draft and review engineering documents, and drawings. Assist on data collection, presentation and involve in cross team collaborations.

Requirements:

Masters degree or foreign equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronic engineering, or a related engineering field. In the alternative employer will also accept Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronic engineering, or a related engineering field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Use of oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer to capture and analyze data. 2. SPICE based software for circuit simulation and analysis. 3. Programing with Raspberry pi or similar processors for various internal projects. 4. Creating engineering drawings, schematics, and handling spec documentation. 5. Project and supplier management 6. Working in cleanroom. 7. Failure analysis of the products, understand the circuit-level design.
