Pay:

$74/hour We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to support neuromodulation hardware R D. This role focuses on designing, testing, and optimizing electronic systems used in advanced medical device technologies. You'll work across the full product lifecycle-from concept through commercialization-while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze analog and digital circuits for embedded medical systems. Develop and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, BOMs, requirements, drawings). Perform component-level testing and troubleshooting using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.). Lead and participate in design reviews and risk management activities. Troubleshoot software-controlled SMT circuit boards and resolve performance issues. Collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to optimize design, cost, and yield. Develop and execute test protocols, validation activities, and technical reports. Support and mentor technicians and junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and product development. Strong background in analog and digital circuit design and analysis. Experience with electronic test equipment and hands-on lab work. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design/review tools. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Altium Designer for PCB design. Background in regulated industries (medical devices preferred). Knowledge of FDA quality systems, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14708, EN 60601). Familiarity with embedded systems or firmware development. Experience with RF design (low GHz range).
