Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV with strong expertise in high-speed design, signal characterization, and power delivery. This role will focus on next-generation hardware platforms with an emphasis on signal integrity, display power, and high-speed interface development. Responsibilities Design and develop high-speed electronic systems and subsystems. Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis (SI/PI). Conduct signal characterization, validation, and debugging of high-speed interfaces. Support display power and system power design and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and validation. Drive board-level design, bring-up, and lab validation activities. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in high-speed hardware design. Strong experience with signal characterization and measurement. Proficiency in signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis. Expertise in high-speed board design (PCB). Experience with high-speed protocols such as MIPI, and other high-speed serial interfaces (SerDes, DDR, PCIe, etc.). Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, VNAs, and high-speed measurement tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with display power architectures. Familiarity with advanced memory or interconnect protocols (e.g., MIPI, LPDDR, or similar). Experience in system bring-up and failure analysis. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
