We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to join a cross-functional team to help develop sensors, systems, and applications for the areas of health, wellness, and fitness. The team features a collaborative, inclusive, and hands-on environment that fosters engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation. Description In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative health products and features. As an electrical engineer on the Health Technologies team, your responsibilities will include the following. Investigate feasibility of new features for future products Evaluate and develop new sensor technologies Design user studies that answer key questions Develop system models, including physiology and sensor systems Create prototype circuits and systems Analyze data from bench-top and user studies Regularly create technical presentations for executive and cross-functional briefings Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with analog design, signal processing, and embedded circuits Experience with user study design and data analysis Minimum Qualifications MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline Experience with sensors and related circuitry Experience creating health devices or measurement of biological signals Proficiency with Python or similar simulation and modeling tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to focus down to the details Ability to communicate effectively Ability to drive what matters Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,306 and $213,700 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
