This role involves designing and developing electronic hardware from requirements through production, including circuit card design and testing. Key Responsibilities Design & Development Design electrical systems, components, and circuit cards based on project requirements Develop, prototype, and test electronic hardware for functionality, performance, and safety Translate requirements into schematic designs and PCB layouts System Analysis Analyze electrical circuits and systems using simulation tools Perform calculations and validate performance Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions Project Management Plan and manage engineering projects, including timelines and resource allocation Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery Technical Documentation Create and maintain schematics, specifications, test reports, and design documentation Track design changes and project progress Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to electrical codes, standards, and regulations Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures Collaboration Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders Support integration of electrical systems into larger products Research & Innovation Stay current with emerging technologies Recommend improvements for performance and efficiency Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Technical Skills Strong experience in circuit board (PCB) design and hardware development Proficiency in circuit design, analysis, and simulation tools Experience with CAD tools for schematics and layouts (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, etc.) Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Preferred Experience Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment Familiarity with manufacturing processes Prior experience in hardware product development Key Screening Criteria (Must-Have) ✔ Circuit board (PCB) design experience ✔ Hardware design from requirements ✔ Experience creating circuit cards ✔ Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
