EV Charging Test Engineer Contract Duration:
6+ Months (possible extension based on performance)

Torrance California 90503 Position Overview The EV Charging Test Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of testing activities for EV charging systems and components. This role involves test planning, instrumentation setup, data collection and analysis, fixture design, documentation, and troubleshooting of issues identified during testing. Job Description Responsibilities Assist in the development of test planning, execution, and data analysis.
Instrument test assets including:
Thermocouples Voltage probes Current transducers Create test documentation including: Test instructions Specifications Drawings Verification plans Design and modify test fixtures and instrumentation for charging equipment testing. Support hands-on technical root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science from an accredited university. Experience running and maintaining a variety of system-level and component-level tests. Skilled in hands-on hardware testing at a system level. Experience working with medium and high voltage systems up to 1000VDC . Ability to work autonomously. Experience with data loggers and data acquisition systems. Experience Requirement Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in EV charging, electrical testing, hardware validation, power electronics testing, or a similar engineering testing role.
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
