Design, implement, maintain, and improve control systems associated with electric motors, pumps, motor control panels, industrial drives, and automation equipment used in commercial and industrial applications. Oversee control-system projects, troubleshooting and testing activities to ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and customer requirements, and maintenance. Perform basic engineering calculations to establish control-system specifications and operating parameters. Use engineering software to develop drawings and control logic. Work directly with engineers, technicians, and customers to review system needs, performance issues, and recommended solutions. Inspect completed control systems and observe operation to verify compliance with design and safety standards. Investigate system failures or customer complaints and recommend corrective actions. Prepare technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, basic specifications, and test reports. Assist in estimating costs for control-system projects and needed materials or equipment. Support testing and data collection efforts to evaluate motor and control-system performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and two years of experience on the job.
