Qualifications Qualifications/ Required Education The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate student majoring in Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:
Knowledge of simple measurement tools such as calipers, voltmeters and pressure regulators. An understanding of basic electronic components such as buttons, LEDs, resistors, capacitors, etc. Excellent communication skills to convey research findings. Ability and willingness to learn tools and techniques to assist in evaluating new technologies. Experience with statistical analysis tools a plus. Logistics The job is located in Boulder, CO. BI Incorporated Responsibilities Summary BI Hardware Engineering is tasked with designing the company's products. We are currently seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The Hardware Engineering Intern will support engineers in the testing, evaluation and support of new technology designs and product offerings. Position involves statistical analysis of advanced problem solving skills. Evaluate data derived from reliability and performance testing of new and existing designs to propose changes and updates as necessary. Intern Responsibilities Assist HW Engineers on tasks and projects. Be a contributing member of the department. Develop project plans and garner support before implementation of approved plan. Collaborate on analysis and creation of interim and final reports.
