Job Description

Electrical/Mechanical Coordinator - Data Center Project (Cheyenne, WY) We're hiring an early‑career Electrical Engineer who wants to step out of pure design work and build a long‑term career in field‑driven coordination, commissioning, and construction support. This role is based in Cheyenne, WY , supporting a large‑scale mission‑critical data center project and offers hands‑on exposure to complex MEP systems from day one. What You'll Do Estimating & Scheduling — Support quantity takeoffs, schedule development, and planning for electrical and mechanical scopes. Quality Control — Perform field QC checks, verify installation quality, and ensure work aligns with design intent. Commissioning Support — Assist with system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of power distribution, generators, switchgear, and other critical infrastructure. Field Coordination — Work directly with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issues and support system integration. Documentation & Reporting — Maintain commissioning logs, reports, and issue tracking throughout the project lifecycle. Cross‑Discipline Exposure — While the work is ~70% electrical, you'll gain meaningful exposure to mechanical systems and full MEP coordination.

Work Split:
~60% field / 40% office
Travel:
Mostly within Colorado; furthest sites include
Pueblo and Cheyenne Discipline Mix:
~70% electrical / ~30% mechanical
Design Work:
None — no stamping or design responsibilities
Training:

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
