Englewood, CO Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Vendor management Bachelor's degree Professional Engineer Full Job Description Electrical Project Engineer Seeking a dynamic individual to lead a team of electrical and control engineers and designers in the development, design, and delivery of bulk material handling equipment in Englewood, CO. This role involves direct interaction with clients, 3rd party sub-contractors, and vendors. Utilize technical expertise in disciplinary field. Lead a team in creating innovative, high-quality solutions. Identify staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supporting organization managers. Oversee project personnel through specific phases of projects. Monitor expenditures within project budget constraints. Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements. Interface with customers to provide project updates and ensure customer needs are met. Coordinate with vendors and other disciplines to maintain design consistency. Prepare technical specifications. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on business practices and requirements. Apply standard practices and techniques, review and approve engineering calculations and drawings, and identify potential project changes. Provide regular reports to Project Manager on assignment status, milestones, schedules, and budgets. Plan and schedule engineering efforts for projects, maintain accurate technical reports, and participate in testing and commissioning activities.
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of related experience PE License Experience in project scope execution Familiarity with industry codes and standards Knowledge of electrical power system equipment sizing and Instrumentation and Controls Experience managing 3rd party sub-contractors Review of vendor and contractor document submittals
Preferred Education/Experience:
Master's Degree Desired, not Required Proficiency in Spanish or French considered an asset Knowledge of mining and bulk material handling industries Experience with power system analysis and Factory Acceptance Tests Proficiency with AutoCAD for generating schematics and diagrams
Computer Skills/Experience:
2D drawing software: AutoCad Electrical software: ETAP, SKM, SmartPlant, E-Plan Programming software: PLC and HMI
