Job Description:
DPP is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for our client in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Work location: Onsite in Englewood, CO

Position summary:
As an Electrical Engineer II, you'll research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services.
These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.
You&39;ll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems. Education/equivalency:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering tools
Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, including, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
Understanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools Work environment:
Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity. Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors. Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes. Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.) Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. Frequently exposed to loud noises. Safety Sensitive Position:
Responsible for the safety or security of people or property. Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles. Performs aviation related duties. Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery. Interested? Learn more:
