Electrical Test Engineer

Aerospace Test Engineer responsible for developing, executing, troubleshooting, and documenting component, subsystem, and spacecraft integration test activities. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree Professional experience in aerospace test engineering or a related field Electrical or electronics testing experience at the unit, subsystem, or spacecraft level Experience developing test procedures for component or spacecraft integration and test activities Experience executing electrical checkouts, RF communications testing, propulsion testing, GN&C testing, thermal testing, or related spacecraft testing Experience performing safe-to-mate, power-on, and functional testing Experience troubleshooting anomalies and failures Experience supporting root cause corrective action Experience reviewing electrical schematics, wiring interconnect diagrams, and electrical component specification sheets Experience operating component or spacecraft EGSE, including: Power supplies Electronic loads Digital multimeters Oscilloscopes RF test equipment VNAs Spectrum analyzers Telemetry receivers Modems Ability to support testing outside standard business hours, including occasional overnight and weekend work Ability to travel as required Preferred Skills Experience using Epsilon3 for test procedure development and execution Experience with environmental testing Experience using bench supplies and oscilloscopes without senior technician support Understanding of AS9100 industry standard practices Electronic testing experience at the spacecraft level FlatSat experience Hardware-in-the-loop testbed design and operations experience Failure analysis experience using Ishikawa, fishbone, 5-Why, or related methods Spacecraft-level test development and hands-on testing experience Experience with spacecraft ground systems, including COSMOS, OpenC3, InControl, or similar systems Linux experience Scripting experience, including Python Familiarity with cleanroom operations for spacecraft integration and test Experience with requirements analysis and test method development Job Responsibilities Develop test procedures for component, subsystem, and spacecraft integration and test activities Execute safe-to-mate, power-on, functional, electrical, RF, propulsion, GN&C, and thermal test procedures Operate component and spacecraft EGSE during test activities Produce reports for each test activity Track test metrics and maintain test records Troubleshoot anomalies, failures, and test issues Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities Review electrical schematics, wiring interconnect diagrams, and component specifications Support environmental, subsystem, and spacecraft-level testing Support FlatSat and hardware-in-the-loop testbed activities Use spacecraft ground systems during test execution as required Support cleanroom-based spacecraft integration and test activities Analyze requirements and define appropriate test methods Support occasional travel for test activities

Pay:
