The Senior Electrical Engineer will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, and customer focused. This position will be working with our Federal group as an owner's representative on exciting projects.
General responsibilities include:
Act as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects. Provide expert electrical engineering comments based on these requirements. Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction. Coordinate with client peer colleagues, client Project Managers, customers and other client personnel/contractors, and other project team members on projects as necessary. Other similar or related services not of a decision-making nature. Miscellaneous services which will require proficiency in the use of Microsoft's Word, Excel, Power Point, Project software tools and AutoCAD. Assist in the development of reports, studies and presentations. Exhibit professionalism, good customer service and communication skills and serve as a cooperative team player. Multitask and assume multiple projects or assignments simultaneously. Collaborate and assist in resolving critical and possibly controversial issues with a multi-disciplined team of architects, engineers and federal agency clients. Exhibit resiliency if shifting priorities require reprioritization of workload. Understand and be able to implement standards as outlined in the POR, client Design Guides and Construction Standards. Suggest edits or updates to these documents, as applicable. #biaffederal #LI-IR1 Here's what you'll need An active Secret Security Clearance is a requirement for this position; Top Secret is preferred. US Citizenship. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university. Attainment of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferrable. Minimum ten (10) years of related experience and/or training in commercial/government office building design and construction, etc; 20 years is preferable

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
