Digital Signal Processing Enginner

Photonic Semiconductor Manufacturing Company On-site Newark, DE Full-time with strong compensation package. Senior DSP Engineer/Developer (RFSoC & FPGA) Key Responsibilities

• Convert algorithms from simulation in MATLAB/Simulink to real time implementation on high speed devices such as Xilinx RFSoC or FPGAs
• Mentor junior embedded system developers
• Implement scripts/software for real time analysis/debugging of deployed algorithms
• Optimize algorithms for throughput, latency, and FPGA resource utilization
• Manage repository of common algorithms/IP for use across multiple programs and applications (Radar, EW, Comms, ELINT, etc. Required Qualifications & Skills
• At least 5 years of experience of FPGA implementation and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and accountability for producing results
• Basic understanding of DSP techniques such as

FIR, IIR, FFT

• Experience with Xilinx FPGA design tools and workflows
• US Citizen or permanent resident Desired Qualifications & Skills
• 7 Years of experience and Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience configuring high speed DACs/ADCs
• Experience implementing Radar algorithms such as matched filtering, stretch processing, adaptive beamforming, and space time adaptive processing (STAP)
• Experience developing AI/ML classifiers and deploying in embedded systems for Radar/EW/ELINT
• Experience using HDL Coder or other rapid prototyping workflows for generation of HDL from MATLAB/Python algorithms
• Experience with Xilinx RFSOC family of products
• Ability to document designs and results for presentation to key stakeholders
• Current US security clearance at Secret or higher
