Electrical Maintenance Technician

Overview Personnel Resources is hiring a Direct Hire Electrical Maintenance Technician in Chipley, FL In this role, you will leverage your electrical expertise to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery and electrical systems across our production environment. Your technical skills will help uphold safety standards, improve efficiency, and support continuous manufacturing excellence. This position offers an engaging opportunity for motivated professionals eager to apply their industrial electrician experience in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Day Shift Monday - Thursday 6a-4p. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment, to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills; utilize tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments for accurate diagnostics. Maintain and repair industrial machinery Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and plan future activities. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Support safety initiatives by adhering to industry standards for electrical and industrial maintenance protocols while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and electrical systems. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used to automate manufacturing processes. Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment. #DP1
