Fort Lauderdale, FL Linked to Field Operations, Preconstruction, and Project Management LPL Solar is a self-perform construction firm focused on building large-scale solar projects (think > 700 football fields minimum) for utility companies and Independent Power Producers (IPPs). Our management team of industry leaders and experts have a combined experience of 84GW of solar experience over 650+ projects in twenty-one states and the Canadian province of Ontario. As an Electrical Engineer with LPL Solar, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the EOR, in conjunction with the Project Management and Project Operations Team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee the Electrical Design EOR in conjunction with the Project Management and Project Operation Teams Optimize Design Solar Design Support the Construction Process through RFI and Communication with Manufacturers. Support the estimating team on as needed basis.
Required Skills/Abilities:
3+ years of Utility Scale Solar design required. Required AutoCAD and preferred PV Case Experience, Required experience reviewing electrical plans from 10% - IFC sets, one-line diagrams, PPA review and coordinating compliance at interconnection point, Review operation and maintenance manuals. Experienced using PVsyst and reviewing EOR PVsyst output.
Education and Experience:
Preference is given to candidates with BESS design experience. BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
