2 Jacksonville, FL Job Details Full-time 5 hours ago Qualifications Engineer in Training Full Job Description About the Position We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in the following offices: Peachtree Corners, GA; Atlanta, GA; Kennesaw, GA; Savannah, GA; Columbia, SC; Jacksonville, FL; Huntsville, AL; Mobile, AL; Denver, CO; Honolulu, HI. The ideal candidate will bring 4-8 years of experience in electrical engineering design with exposure to lighting systems, and related electrical projects. Must be eager to continue growing technically within a collaborative team environment. The engineer will work alongside senior technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams on projects across multiple geographies, gaining hands-on experience in medium-voltage distribution, grounding systems, and airside electrical infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to expand technical expertise, increase project responsibility, and continue developing within the electrical engineering field. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting projects through multiple phases of design and construction. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university 4-8 years of experience in electrical design, utility, or aviation infrastructure projects EIT certification required; PE license or progress toward licensure strongly preferred Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars (e.g., AC 150/5340 series), ICAO standards, or electrical design criteria preferred Experience or exposure to constant current regulator (CCR) systems, series lighting circuits, duct banks, grounding systems, and power distribution systems preferred Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Civil 3D; familiarity with airfield lighting design tools is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams and support project deliverables across multiple assignments Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from senior engineers and project managers Ability to manage priorities, multi-task, and produce high-quality technical work in a fast-paced environment
