Senior Electrical Engineer Ecotal - 5.0 Miami, FL Job Details Full-time From $160,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Relocation assistance Health insurance RSU Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Data center experience Project engineering Revit Electrical load calculations Managing design projects Design engineering Electrical Engineering Project Development Full Job Description Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure Miami, FL We are currently supporting a rapidly growing developer and operator of next-generation digital infrastructure seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team in Miami, FL. This individual will play a key role in the design and development of electrical power systems supporting large-scale data center environments, including AI, cloud, colocation, and other high-performance computing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop low and medium voltage power distribution systems and backup power solutions Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and power availability modeling Develop electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Ensure compliance with NEC, local building codes, and industry standards Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability Support project teams through design, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities Partner with procurement teams to ensure accurate equipment specifications and alignment with project objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 7+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on power distribution systems Experience supporting data centers, mission critical facilities, industrial infrastructure, power generation, or similar complex environments Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, or related design software Strong understanding of electrical codes, load calculations, and power distribution modeling Experience leading projects from conceptual design through implementation PE license preferred
