Orlando, FL Are you an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with experience in power generation, EPC, or OEM environments, looking to take ownership of instrumentation and control systems on large-scale gas turbine projects? On offer is an opportunity to join a globally recognized power generation company, where you'll play a key role across the full project lifecycle, from contract signing through to execution, supporting new builds and advanced energy projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for instrumentation specification, procurement, and documentation, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality control systems. You will support project execution, troubleshoot technical issues, and play a key role in ensuring successful delivery of instrumentation and control scope. This role would suit an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with experience in power generation or heavy industrial projects, who is confident working with P&IDs, I/O lists, and control logic, and is looking to take ownership of complex, customer-facing projects.
The Role:
Specification and procurement of instrumentation for gas turbine and power generation projects Develop and maintain P&IDs validation, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and control logic documentation Support project execution including scheduling, vendor coordination, and customer interfacing Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control issues across project sites
The Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field Experience in power generation, EPC, or OEM environments (oil & gas or chemicals also considered) Strong understanding of instrumentation, P&IDs, I/O lists, and control systems Experience working with vendors, procurement packages, and customer-facing project delivery Rise Technical Recruitment Inc of 1011 Centre Rd, Suite 322, Wilmington, DE 19805 act as an employer-paid private personnel agency.
