Job Description
Job Overview The Electrical Engineer will support a large‑scale industrial expansion project focused on increasing production output. This role provides hands‑on engineering support for power distribution and control systems within an operational manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong electrical engineering foundation and experience in industrial, petro‑chemical, or oil and gas facilities and can contribute immediately in a fast‑paced, onsite setting. Responsibilities Support electrical engineering activities related to power distribution systems rated at 480 volts or less. Assist with design, evaluation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems supporting production expansion. Interface with control systems and automation platforms supporting industrial operations. Review electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications to support project execution and field activities. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure safe and reliable system performance. Provide onsite electrical engineering support during installation, upgrades, and system modifications. Identify and resolve electrical issues impacting production throughput and system reliability. Support compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university (required). Experience supporting industrial electrical systems, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or petro‑chemical environments. Solid understanding of power distribution systems operating at 480V or below. Ability to work onsite full time in St. Marks, FL. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card). Ability to pass background check and drug screening. Skills Familiarity with Allen‑Bradley PLC systems. Experience working with Honeywell control systems and controllers. Exposure to industrial automation and control environments. Experience supporting high‑output production or capacity expansion projects. Strong troubleshooting skills in live production environments.
