Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Manager to lead our automation engineering team. You will oversee control panel design, PLC programming, testing, and field start-ups, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and scale the Controls team; manage scheduling, budgeting, and 5S standards. Translate customer specs into system architectures, electrical layouts, and cost estimates. Direct PLC programming, panel testing, and periodic field commissioning support. Proactively perform risk analysis to mitigate system exposures. Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, and Production to ensure on-time delivery.
salary:
$90,000 - $122,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 4

BachelorsResponsibilitiesManage all engineering activities within the Controls department including resource loading, innovation, design, standards, procedures, product development, implementation, and testing. Define, develop, and implement project execution processes that employ repeatable systems for consistency in excellence. Provide direction and guidance on control system architecture, documentation and system software architecture. Generate and oversee risk analysis as they apply to controls systems and implement plans to mitigate customer s and company s exposure. Lead the department in developing a culture of sustained and continuous improvement practices. Develop and drive key performance indicators to the highest standards of performance in safety, quality, delivery and cost. Work collaboratively with fellow department managers to communicate and to solve joint challenges. Remain abreast of new and legacy industry standards, controls component migration, and applicable electrical codes. Ensure direct reports comply with current standards and codes.
