Job Requirements Augusta, GA Clearance Unspecified Polygraph not specified Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Electrical Engineer Perform a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of equipment, systems, or processes with a clear understanding of the project objectives and related regulatory and/or industry requirements and practices.
Responsibilities:
Develop designs for medium and low voltage power systems. Size and specify transformers & generators. Apply NEC and API recommended practices. Apply knowledge of grounding practices. Coordinate hazardous area classification studies and develop reports. Support work delivered from multiple office locations. Direct project workflow of engineers, designers and drafters to ensure project completion. Interact and collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors. Manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and work with Discipline Manager and Project Managers to develop contingency plans. Participate in services during construction, including field verification, site observations reports, responses to RFIs, and submittal reviews.
Requirements:
BSEE or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD and Revit and coordinating an integrated design using coordination tools such as NavisWorks. Demonstrated experience working in the architectural/engineering (A/E) industry supporting projects in the specialty chemicals, heavy industrial, and manufacturing industries.
