  • About the Role
  • As an EWIS Engineer, you will lead engineering projects involving critical technical challenges that require advanced expertise, innovative thinking, and significant technological development.
You will serve as a trusted technical authority, providing guidance and recommendations that influence major engineering decisions and program outcomes. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineering professional who excels in solving complex problems, developing new approaches, and leading efforts where engineering precedents may not exist.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Lead engineering projects of major complexity within established program scope.
+ Make technical decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a significant impact on engineering activities. + Apply advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts based on broad expertise or specialized technical knowledge. + Lead the development of innovative engineering concepts, methods, and solutions. + Identify and implement improved methods and procedures to optimize product performance, cost, and schedule objectives. + Exercise independent judgment while working under consultative direction to accomplish program goals. + Develop standards, guidelines, and best practices for diverse engineering activities. + Conceive, plan, and lead investigations into critical technical areas where engineering precedents are limited or unavailable. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. + Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications
  • + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline applicable to the position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.
+ Minimum of 13 years of experience in a specific technical engineering discipline with a Bachelor's degree, or 15 years of broad engineering experience across multiple technical disciplines. + Experience leading complex engineering projects and solving highly technical challenges. + Strong knowledge of advanced engineering principles, practices, and methodologies. + Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide technical leadership. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Education Credit
  • Experience credit for advanced degrees may be considered as follows: +
Master's Degree:
Up to 2 years of applicable experience credit +
PhD:
Up to 4 years of applicable experience credit
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • + Advanced degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. + Aerospace industry experience, particularly related to EWIS, aircraft systems, integration, certification, or design engineering. + Experience developing engineering standards, processes, and technical guidance. + Recognized expertise within a specialized engineering discipline.

  • Pay Details:
  • $80.
