Full Job Description Senior Electrical Engineer Compensation:
$160k - $220k
Location:
Onsite / Design-Build Environment We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to oversee electrical design projects from concept through completion. This role will manage project requirements, design fees, schedules, engineering resources, and technical deliverables while mentoring engineers, designers, and modeling staff. Responsibilities Develop project requirements and prepare design fees for requested work. Create and manage work plans for engineering and production teams. Lead and mentor Engineers, Designers, and Modeling staff assigned to projects. Communicate with Project Managers and leadership regarding schedules, deliverables, and resource needs. Coordinate with city, state, county officials, and regulatory agencies. Attend design meetings with the Design-Build team and perform site visits as needed. Resolve complex design challenges, coordination issues, and conflicting requirements. Perform value engineering studies and serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects. Oversee electrical system studies, including short circuit, arc flash, and voltage drop. Ensure all work complies with NEC and applicable building codes. Requirements Minimum 6 years of electrical engineering experience. Strong Revit experience and familiarity with electrical construction processes. Knowledge of load calculations, equipment layout, HV/MV distribution, lighting design, grounding, and utility coordination. Experience with NEC and state-specific electrical/building codes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor team members. AutoCAD and SKM Power Tools experience are a plus. Modular construction experience is a strong plus but not required. #
