Available About the Role We are seeking a skilled M/E Engineer 2
  • Electrical to support mission-critical construction projects, including data centers.
This role is ideal for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering within the construction industry who are ready to take on greater responsibility in coordination, commissioning, and project delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities Support safety and quality initiatives to maintain an injury-free work environment Perform routine mechanical/electrical engineering and field construction tasks Assist in developing budgetary M/E estimates using automated systems Support preconstruction efforts, including systems analysis and scope development Participate in bid analysis and subcontractor selection Assist in developing sequencing plans for M/E systems Review design documents and identify constructability or quality issues Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications Support shop drawing and submittal processes Assist with commissioning activities, including testing and checklists M/E Engineer 2 Responsibilities Help develop and execute commissioning plans Lead mechanical/electrical coordination processes Interact independently with project teams and stakeholders Review shop drawings and subcontractor submittals Participate in all construction phases from startup to closeout Develop and manage schedules for M/E systems Perform site inspections and submit reports Prepare constructability reviews Support job pursuit presentations as needed Provide M/E estimates and analyze system options
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field Equivalent experience may be considered
Experience:
2+ years of construction and/or engineering experience (required) Data center experience (preferred) Skills & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of construction management methods and M/E systems Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to manage tasks accurately and meet deadlines
