Electrical Engineer:
+ Perform detailed electrical engineering in support of construction, facility modification, and infrastructure upgrade projects at NRF. + Prepare and revise work procedures, calculations, electrical drawings, and related technical documentation. + Provide engineering support for electrical power distribution systems, equipment modifications, and facility improvements. + Ensure assigned engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and site requirements. + Support multidisciplined project teams and coordinate with operations, project management, safety, radiological controls, environmental, procurement, quality, and other disciplines. + Conduct field walkdowns, technical reviews, troubleshooting, and engineering evaluations in support of project execution. + Review drawings, specifications, vendor submittals, and other technical documents for adequacy and compliance. + Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and engineers from other disciplines, as needed.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program and a minimum of four years of engineering experience is required. + Power systems engineering experience is required. + Experience preparing electrical drawings, engineering packages, work procedures, calculations, and technical documentation is required. + Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, including NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, IEEE, and other applicable industry standards, is required. + Must be a U.S. Citizen; dual citizenship is not permitted. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" security clearance; current clearance is a plus. + Must obtain and maintain Radiological Controls an
