at OTTO Engineering, Inc. in Carpentersville, Illinois, United States Job Description Electrical Engineer II - Communications OTTO - designed, manufactured and precision tested, right here in the USA. OTTO's opportunity: Our Electrical Engineer II will design circuitry for Communications and Power Management Products. Working on concept through production product development, as well as participate in the technical resolution of field and production issues. Prior experience in portable (battery powered) electronics, analog, audio, and digital circuitry is desired. Degree of supervision required to perform job duties should not exceed 40%. Specifically, the Electrical Engineer II will : Analog/Digital circuit design, prototyping, and performance evaluation to meet customer and/or internal specifications Component specification and selection Generate schematics, bills-of-material (BOMs), and provide PCB layout guidance Evaluate and document product performance to customer specifications Technical sales support Determine production test requirements Assist Production to validate test equipment as needed Ongoing support of existing products Coordinate with Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales Maintain required engineering documentation: schematics, BOM's, ECN's, drawings, layouts Assist with other related duties as required or assigned To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
