The organization offers expertise in electrical, mechanical, process, controls, plumbing, and structural engineering, delivering innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality services tailored to client needs.
Overview:
An opportunity is available for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a growing team. This role involves designing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and implementing automation and control systems for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply standard electrical controls engineering principles to assigned projects. Independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors throughout project lifecycles. Design, program, and support field instrumentation, control panels, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Develop complete control system designs, including electrical schematics, P&IDs, hardware specifications, and control narratives. Perform PLC and HMI programming, testing, and commissioning. Resolve complex technical challenges such as conflicting design requirements and coordination issues. Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, agencies, and internal design teams. Support additional project-related tasks as needed.
Location:
On-site Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience required for senior-level candidates.
